Bahrain National Museum

The Bahrain National Museum has a different collection of archaeological artifacts. Aggregation highlights Bahrain's history for its 6000 years existence.

It consists of several halls and three of them are dedicated to the archaeology and ancient civilization of Dilmun. The other two halls show the culture and lifestyle of their past industries.

In 1993, the natural history hall was opened. It depicts the natural environment of Bahrain which includes the flora and fauna.

The exhibits also consists of burial mound which came from the desert and reassembled in the museum. Another is a tableau in which it portrays a scene from the "Epic Of Gilgamesh".

All documents, papers and manuscripts are displayed at the Documents and Manuscript hall.
